We know you like to have fun, and so do we! We also know that you have some questions about important things like faith. That's cool, because we can help you with both. You're invited to join us at any of our events, studies, or group gatherings. Don't be shy—just grab a friend and show up!

We have a team... missionaries in the making! If you haven't sent out your support letters, don't delay any longer. And as you're developing your mailing list, please remember to get prayer partners as well. (Your support letter and prayer partner list are due at our next meeting, March 16.) Please contact Lesli at 812-518-1442 if you have any questions.
Believe is a high-energy weekend event structured specfically for middle school students, and is packed with powerful worship, intense drama and teaching from God's Word. With year's theme "UpsideDown", students will look at some parables from Luke – such as the lost sheep and how God pursues them, the great banquet and how God includes them, and the good Samaritan and how God sends them to be Kingdom workers now. By the time your middle school student(s) leave a weekend of Believe, their understanding of God’s Kingdom will be flipped upside down.
The cost for this all expense covered weekend of outrageous fun is $135. You can get an EARLY BIRD price of $110, though, through March 9. Download the form below and submit it with your $25 deposit to secure your spot. If you have any questions, please contact Lesli at 812-518-1442.
This year we'll be returning to Camp Illiana in Washington, IN. Watch this space for details.
For more about the Middle School Ministry and how you might be able to plug in, please contact Mark Silen at 812-518-1431 or Lesli Wheeler at 812-518-1442.
Middle School Pastor
What can I say about myself… I’ve got a terrific wife, Tammy, & four children bursting with energy… we all think drinking chocolate milk everyday is the real deal! I am an avid “Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader” buff, I do pushups before I go to bed & I think Mt. Dew is a legal addictive stimulant that makes the world go 'round. Other than that I believe everyone on the planet should sit at the feet of Jesus on a daily basis to soak up the best thing in life.

Middle School Administrative Assistant
Here's the truth: I'm a serious health food nut who tries daily to consume at least 3 of the major food groups: diet Coke, chocolate, and diet Coke. After all, chocolate is a vegetable–it’s made from beans! I have one sister and three brothers and live on the northeast side of Evansville with my split-personality cat, Skitz. (That’s ONE cat–no “crazy cat lady” here.) I've been working in youth ministry for nearly 18 years, and never cease to be amazed by God working in the lives of students. I love being a part of His plan, and am SO blessed to be working in the middle school ministry. If you can’t find me wandering around the Atrium, I'm probably at her desk trying to bring a little order to Mark’s world. I know… good luck with that!

SaLT (Service and Leadership Team)
SaLT is our student leadership program. And while the team is in place for the 2013-14 school year, it's never too soon to look at future leaders. If you feel you have a positive influence over others and enjoy using that influence to point people towards Jesus, then you may enjoy being a part of this leadership team. In this leadership role students learn about ways to shepherd other students and set an example for their peers in their speech, life, love, faith, and purity. Applications are accepted each year through July, and interviews are conducted the first week in August. For details or questions, please contact Lesli at 812-518-1442.
If you have a middle school student, or just have a heart for middle schoolers, we'd love to get you plugged in to the Middle School Ministry at Crossroads. There are numerous serving opportunities ranging from event set-up and teardown to one-on-one student mentoring. You just need to tell us where you're gifted and how "hands on" you'd like to be. Are You Ready will give you an idea what you're getting into. For further information and next steps, please contact Lesli at 812-518-1442.
Insight Teaching Schedule
